The DigiTech Centre at the University of Suffolk is supported by £6.4m from the LEP’s Growth Deal with Government and provides cutting-edge digital skills for people looking to pursue careers in information and communications technology.
Specialist high-tech laboratories form the heart of the research and engineering facility, which was officially opened in October 2021 and will be used by staff, students and businesses at Adastral Park and from across the region.
The benefits of skills generation, job creation, ICT sector company growth and productivity increase will support the growth of ICT expertise in the New Anglia region.
