Important message about the future of new anglia lep
From 1 April 2024, the Government will no longer be funding
Local Enterprise Partnerships, and our functions are to be transferred to
Norfolk and Suffolk County Councils from that date. These functions include
business representation, strategic economic planning, and responsibility for
the delivery of government programmes where directed.
We are currently working closely with both local authorities
to manage an orderly transition and ensure that we continue to deliver for the
region under the new arrangements. In the meantime, we will continue to deliver
our services as normal.
The LEP schemes will continue to operate as before, yet to ensure a smooth transition, from February there will be a temporary pause in the approval of LEP administered grants before re-commencing in April 2024. Please note that the New Anglia Growth Hub service will continue to support businesses throughout this period and will be able to answer any questions.
We delivered webinars, events and podcasts full of practical tips, bringing you inspiring stories through our news and blogs and sharing helpful online resources.
