European Regional Development Fund

European Regional Development Fund (ERDF) funding focuses on supporting business competitiveness, creating jobs, investment in innovation and the low carbon economy.

New Anglia LEP has secured over £43m for investment into projects in Suffolk and Norfolk from the European Regional Development Fund (ERDF) from 2015 to 2023.

Success to date:

Over £34m of projects contracted, with further projects due to go live in 2020.

Over 7,500 businesses supported, with 800 jobs created, and 40 new to market products developed

The European Investment Strategy sets out the programme priorities, and shows how they link to the Norfolk and Suffolk Economic Strategy.

The ERDF programme funds packages of support or grant opportunities. The New Anglia Growth Hub, supported by ERDF, can signpost to the full range of EU-funded opportunities relevant to your business.

There are unlikely to be further opportunities to bid for funding from this programme, although some funding may be awarded to current projects to deliver further activity as part of the economic response to Covid-19.
