The first students moved into the new £2.4m Tech Campus at Suffolk New College in November 2021 and an official opening is scheduled for 2022.
Courses on offer will include Esports, Games Design and IT, and a brand new T Level course in Digital Production, Design and Development will also be taught at the purpose-built facility in Ipswich which will help to ensure the region has the skills needed by this fast-growing sector.
Funding of £1.6m was provided for the project via the LEP’s Growth Deal with Government.
