This project created a custom-made aviation training facility in a refurbished Second World War air hangar at Norwich Airport. The new International Aviation Academy is the first of its kind in the UK and up to 450 students are trained at the academy each year, learning the skills needed to work in air traffic control, airport operations and other areas of the aviation industry.

The £12m project was officially opened in August 2017 by Carol Vorderman, television personality and honorary ambassador group captain with the RAF cadets.
