Skills Support for the Workforce

Skills Support for the Workforce provides a wide range of training opportunities for businesses in Norfolk and Suffolk to upskill their employees.  It also provides tailored redundancy support training, to help those being made redundant with the skills they need to quickly get back into work.

The project is run by Steadfast Training and is funded by the Education and Skills Funding Agency and European Social Fund.

All training provision is available remotely through the virtual classroom, and includes the following, as well as a specially designed package of support for redundancy and reskilling:

• Business Administration Diploma Level 2/Level 3 units

• Customer Service Level 2 Diploma/Level 3 Certificate

• Leadership & Team Skills (ILM) Level 2 Award or Certificate

• Award in Management (ILM) Level 3

• Understanding Retail Operations Level 2 Certificate

• Adult Care Level 2 Diploma, as well as various short courses for Adult Care (incl. dementia care; end of life care; manual handling)

• Warehousing Principles Level 2

• ICT – bespoke Word, Excel and PowerPoint

• Social Media for Business.
