Norfolk Community College

Norfolk Community College supports unemployed people in Norfolk facing multiple and complex barriers with training and employability support.  Norfolk Community College offers training, mentoring, advice and support right across the county, working with a network of trainers, community groups, and businesses.

The project is run by East Coast College, with specialist delivery partners including Access Community Trust, ACE Training, DIAL, The Feed Enterprise, Future Projects and Voluntary Norfolk.

The project is part of the Building Better Opportunities programme, funded by the European Social Fund and The National Lottery Community Fund.

Following her time engaging on the project, Alison said ‘I could not have managed without the support of the Norfolk Community College project team.   I received help with application forms and interview skills practice as the team helped me to secure work experience to help me prepare for the next step in my development…..I have now secured a job with great prospects and earning potential. I have told everybody I know about Norfolk Community College. They really took my case on and supported me and my family in every possible way.’
