‘We have a varied and rich tourist offer, from coast and countryside and pretty market towns, underpinned by a dynamic and pioneering cultural sector boasting internationally-celebrated brands.’ New Anglia LEP
‘Our culture holds us together. Arts, music, theatre, museums and heritage and culture in all its other forms are a vital part of people’s lives up and down the country. Our outstanding creativity and arts excellence sets an example for the world. The people that work in cultural sectors want to work, to help continue to support and inspire their communities’. Neil Mendoza, Commissioner, Cultural Recovery and Renewal Taskforce
Celebrating Culture 2021 is a major collaborative PR and Marketing campaign to actively promote Norfolk and Suffolk’s rich regional arts, culture and heritage offer in 2021/2022.
Delivered by Norfolk County Council, Suffolk County Council, New Anglia Culture Board Marketing Consortium and wider culture and tourism partners, this exciting and inclusive campaign is designed to amplify the profile of Norfolk and Suffolk’s outstanding cultural offer and to support the recovery of the cultural sector and the visitor economy. The primary focus of the campaign will be on attracting domestic visitors to the region in 2021, and beyond, when it is safe to do so.
