The last section of the Broadland Northway has been officially launched by Keith Simpson MP.
Formerly known as the Norwich Northern Distributor Road (NDR), the Broadland Northway will provide a link between the A1067 and the A47 at Postwick, carrying around 40,000 vehicles per day. It is expected to bring up to £1bn of economic benefits, improving access to the region through improved journey times.
New Anglia LEP has invested £10m of Growth Deal funding from HM Government towards the completion of the road, which will be fully open to the public on 16 April.

“It means that people will be able to access their work much more quickly than before. There will be significant journey time savings – getting to the airport will be so much easier.”
