While James does not come from East Anglia, his love of the area goes back to the time he studied Hotel and Catering Management at the Norwich City College, of which he has some very fond memories.
After college James worked for several years in various management roles within hospitality, across Australia, the UK and the Caribbean.
James’ corporate career has taken him into several different sectors working in operations and new store development, for an international coffee chain, facilities management for a national leisure company, senior project management roles within retail store development. James spent some years in the Netherlands working for an international supply chain company specialising in supporting retail store development projects, covering key account management for major international organisations across the EMEA region, whilst also being responsible for regulatory compliance and process improvement. On returning to the UK James developed several start-up businesses within the energy efficiency sector most recently specialising in Lighting Services.
“What excites me about my role is the opportunity to use the knowledge and experiences I have gained with the goal to ultimately add value to the organisations I am working with.”
