Recruitment firm People With Energy has used funding from New Anglia LEP’s Small Grant Scheme to upgrade its IT systems.

The company, which has offices in Beccles and Lowestoft, applied for a grant to help pay for new equipment.

The Small Grant Scheme is funded by the European Regional Development Fund and offers grants from £1,000 to £25,000 to help you grow your business.

People With Energy received a grant for 20% of the costs of the upgrade – about £7,500.

Managing Director Stuart Smith said: “Like all companies in the modern era, from time-to-time we need to upgrade our IT systems to ensure that we have the processing power to run all the software that assists us in the running of a busy recruitment firm.

“This is no small cost, so we were delighted to be awarded a grant. On behalf of everyone at People With Energy who will be using faster computers, and receiving full training on improved software, we’d like the thank everyone involved in approving the application.”
