An aesthetics clinic has transformed an empty building in the centre of King’s Lynn into a high-end clinic after receiving vital support from New Anglia Local Enterprise Partnership.
The Rejuvenation Room, owned by Tracey Travis and her daughter Maddy Gaskins, has gone from a one-room operation to a spacious clinic with separate treatment areas, stylish rest rooms and the offer of more advanced treatments.
Its expanded services for women and men and a more prominent location in the town centre have seen its client base grow rapidly and its larger new premises ensure a Covid-safe environment for customers and staff alike.
The business was awarded £41,296 from the LEP’s Business Resilience and Recovery Scheme, which was set up to support short-term business resilience projects and longer-term recovery and diversification projects. Companies dealing with the effects of the outbreak can also benefit from fully funded advice from a panel of consultants via the initiative.
Half of the cost of the renovation building works was funded through the scheme, which is administered by New Anglia Growth Hub.
Tracey said: “Being awarded the grant has ultimately enabled us to move our business from one room into our own clinic with multiple treatments rooms. It has helped us to establish our clinic as having a very high-end feel, which our clients appreciate and can enjoy. We set out to establish a London-style clinic in King’s Lynn while maintaining affordable prices for our clients, which the grant has enabled us to do.
“We wanted to create a safe and hygienic workplace for both our clients and staff which again we feel we have achieved. Having access to multiple treatment rooms has enabled us to see more clients at once and to be able to provide more advanced procedures which we simply couldn’t do in our former set-up.
“We have also been able to employ a receptionist and will be very soon employing additional aestheticians to work with us in providing more exclusive treatments.”
She added: “The volume of new clients and amazing reviews we have received since reopening after the latest lockdown is testament to the hard work we have put into the business, which we wouldn’t have been able to do without the grant and the support received by New Anglia Growth Hub.”
