Schools in the Breckland and West Suffolk areas are being offered free visors by a local plastics company.

So far, 17 schools have accepted donations of 450 visors from Peerless Plastics & Coatings in Thetford, which got in touch with New Anglia Local Enterprise Partnership through Breckland District Council.

Other schools interested in receiving a free supply can arrange to collect from the company’s premises at 16-20 Howlett Way.

Marketing manager Mark Scott said: “The company has been working hard through the lockdowns to manufacture products that help to keep teachers, students, staff and customers safe. So, it’s great to give something back to our local community in some small way, and we will continue to do so for as long as we can.”

If your school is interested, email [email protected] to arrange to collect a box of visors.
