Business in Norfolk and Suffolk will benefit from new grants to support recovery from the Covid-19 pandemic.

New Anglia LEP and the New Anglia Growth Hub have been awarded additional funding from Government to help businesses restart and adapt.

Details of the funds, which will launch within the coming weeks, are being finalised.

The Kick-starting Tourism Package will give small businesses in tourist destinations grants between £1,000 and £5,000 to help them adapt their businesses following the pandemic.

Additional funding will give small and medium-sized businesses access to grants of between £1,000 and  £5,000 to help them acquire new technology and other equipment, as well as professional, legal, financial or other advice to help them get back on track.

The support will be fully funded by the Government from the England European Regional Development Fund and distributed through Growth Hubs.
