Redevelopment of a prime site on Great Yarmouth’s seafront, delivering a new, high-quality water and leisure visitor attraction. This is a shovel-ready project, with co-investment leveraging nearly £24m of additional funding. It is an immediate priority investment and is part of a co-ordinated series of major interventions that will de-seasonalise and rebalance the local economy and increase GVA of the Borough by £260m.It will stimulate wider economic regeneration and become part of the town’s high-quality offer in response to the emerging tourism trend of year-round attractions/culture alongside new accommodation. It directly addresses pronounced local health and wellbeing challenges.
