A manufacturing, engineering and tech conference attracted a record attendance of 170 delegates to hear about what Environmental Social Governance means for their fast-developing sector.
New Anglia Advanced Manufacturing & Engineering’s (NAAME) annual event was held at Adastral Park near Ipswich on 10 February and keynote speakers from BT, Make UK, Lotus, the Institute of Directors and Maltdoctor had plenty of practical tips to help businesses with the implementation and development of plans, policies and products that will help the industry grow and decarbonise.
Workshop were provided by BT Group, Innovate UK Edge and xtonnes, and participants also had the opportunity to network with fellow industry professionals, share best practices and connect regional supply chains. The new Lotus Emira was showcased and the event was topped off with an exclusive tour of the new Digital Industries facilities at the recently launched BT’s Innovation Showcases – only launched in December 2022.
