Summary
The current membership of the Investment Appraisal Committee is as follows:

Martin Williams
With no April LEP Board meeting, the March LEP Board and IAC meetings will be the last
meetings for both David Ellesmere and Alan Waters.
The LEP team would like to take the opportunity to thank both David and Alan for their
support to this committee since it was established and their input to the loan and investment
decisions that have helped to drive forward the delivery of the Economic Strategy and the
LEP ambitions.
IAC May 2023 meeting
At the May meeting a new Chair and Deputy Chair of the IAC will be elected- the Chair
would normally be appointed from the private sector members of the committee.
Following the local elections to be held in May, the new leaders of Ipswich Borough Council
and Norwich City Council will be appointed to the IAC.
We will also review the committee Terms of Reference in May.
Recommendation
IAC to note the contents of this paper and consider nominations for the role of Chair and
Deputy Chair, to be elected at the May meeting.
