Background
A programme of online events entitled Clean Growth for Business was delivered last year.
As part of the UK Government’s Community Renewal Fund: Road to Net Zero Business
Support Programme we have the opportunity to deliver another series of learning and
awareness events to businesses to align with the business support workstream of the Clean
Growth Taskforce.
Content will build on work conducted by the UEA and University of Suffolk as part of the
research element of the Road to Net Zero Business Support Programme. It will also build on
Chambers’ work that has taken place in this sphere.
Events will largely be held online but an in-person event is scheduled in Norwich on 15
November.
A similar in-person event is being held in Ipswich on 17 November, hosted by the Suffolk
Climate Change, Energy and Environment Board.
It is hoped that other partners will also engage in the delivery of this Programme although
the details of this are yet to be worked up. As the timelines align with hat of COP27: Egypt it
is likely that others will come forward.
Online
Webinars from our preferred suppliers will cover the following draft content:
Carbon literacy
Start the change: small things you can do and how they can have a bigger impact
than you might think
‘How to’ business case studies – tips, best practice, lessons learned
