The Eastern New Energy Knowledge Exchange Programme
PATH TO ZERO CARBON
16 - 25 March 2022
A series of six online workshops, including presentations, exercise, discussions and networking to support
SMEs, charities and enterprises in their path to zero carbon. This hands-on event will provide the opportunity
for you to understand your carbon emissions and consider how to monitor them, to write a zero carbon policy,
to develop a strategic approach, to draft an action plan, and get buy-in in your organisation. You will also meet
with other local professionals looking to reduce their carbon emissions. Finally, a one-to-one support session
with one of our experts will be provided.
Path to Zero Carbon is funded through the Eastern New Energy project and is available to eligible local
organisations in the East of England.
ABOUT EASTERN NEW ENERGY
Eastern New Energy (ENE) is a three-year regional support programme focusing on low and zero carbon
actions and local economic development. It is designed to help local enterprises (private and social) and other
organisations across the region understand and remove the barriers that we all face in rapidly decarbonising
our communities, buildings, transport, and lives.
The programme covers the counties of Hertfordshire, Cambridgeshire, Norfolk, Suffolk, Rutland and parts of
Lincolnshire and Essex.
The ENE project has received funding from the England European Regional Development Fund as part of the
European Structural and Investment Funds Growth Programme 2014-2020. The Ministry of Housing,
Communities and Local Government is the Managing Authority for European Regional Development Fund.
