David Ellesmere (DE) welcomed everyone to the meeting.

DE noted an interest in one of the projects listed in the Suffolk Inclusive Growth Investment Fund items.

IAC & GBF Terms of Reference
The meeting reviewed the terms of reference for both bodies and agreed to adopt them.
It was agreed that a statement needs to be included in all project reports detailing the equality
implications of the project and that this would be minuted along with the decision to ensure transparency.

The minutes of the last meeting were agreed as accurate.

Growing Business Fund Programme Performance Report and GBF, SGS and GTI and grant
award appendices
Chris Dashper (CD) reviewed the reports as included in the pack.

Growing Business Fund- Grants by district supported by Growth Deal
CD confirmed that £600k had been spent in the first quarter and the programme continues to be popular.
There may be some clawback from projects but around £300k remains available at the current time. CD
advised that there are options to divert some projects to other funds but eventually some projects will be
unsuccessful when the pot has been exhausted.
As per the action CD highlighted the report in the papers detailing GBF grants split by district.
Sandy Ruddock (SR) asked if high level information on the sector could be included to demonstrate
whether targeted sectors are being included.
It was agreed that when complete the data will be circulated to attendees with a link to allow them to
manipulate the data.
