apprentceship

How many jobs have you had, and can you name them? 4͖ Housekeeping, waitressing

and working on the bar, babysitng and Marsh.

What school subjects link to your career? Maths

typical day in your current role looks like: Coming into work early, reading emails, filing

emails away and then auctoning any queries and emails that need assistance, answer a

few phone calls and then finish the day at 5pm.

What skills do you use daily, that you learnt at school? Maths, how to read and write.

What is the number #1 piece of advice you’ve been given that helped you with your

career choice? Choose what makes you happy.

Where do you see yourself in 5 years? Working in London as an insurance broker.

If you could have done anything differently on your career journey, what would it be?

Not to apply through the apprentceship route as this did not challenge the student and we

all thought it was a waste of tme.

Why do you love your job?

Meetng new people and interactng with people from different

backgrounds͘ I love learning about oil rigs and the ins and outs of

insurance͘
