My Journey
Student to Apprentice
This is Jasper, who was recently a college student, just like you.
In September 2018, Jasper joined Morgan Sindall as an Apprentice
Quantity Surveyor and is now working whilst studying towards a BSc
(Hons) in Quantity Surveying.
Jasper, commenting on his journey with Morgan Sindall:
“I was recommended via a family member and contacted Helen
Clements (Community Investment Advisor at Morgan Sindall) to
organise work experience where I spent time in each department,
and it was then I realised I wanted to be a Quantity Surveyor (QS).
I hadn’t ever considered a career in construction until I completed
my work experience. I studied business at College and was originally
looking to go into Marketing/Finance, and intended on going to
University full time.”
Having enjoyed his work experience with Morgan Sindall so much,
Jasper decided to apply for an Apprentice QS role in 2017 where he
was successful, and joined the business in the following year!
