Project size: £3 million
Started: 15th October 2020
End date: 30th June 2023
Business engagement dates: February 2021 – July 2022.

DRIVE will support SMEs that have an impact on the rural economy within Norfolk and Suffolk, from start-ups to long established companies, who want to invest within a new project that will develop an organisation’s growth and employment options. A crucial aspect of the programme is the opportunity for an applicant to spend up to 12 hours with a Business Mentor to produce a project plan and to incorporate this into the wider business plan. After completing the mentor engagement, the business will be able to apply for a grant towards their capital investment. The applicant will need to write an application form which will be fully appraised.
A typical application process will take approximately 2-3 months to complete.
