New Anglia LEP is delighted to announce that Lindsey Rix has become the Deputy Chair of its board.
Lindsey is Managing Director of Aviva’s UK Savings and Retirement business. She has previously been responsible for its Personal General Insurance business as well as Chief Operating Officer for General Insurance. Prior to joining Aviva in 2014, Lindsey held a variety of MD roles in Commercial & Corporate banking at Barclays and Santander, as well as being MD of Santander’s Private Banking and Wealth Management division in the UK. She has been a LEP board member since 2015.
Lindsey was unanimously elected as Deputy Chair at the LEP’s February board meeting. This is a new role within the structure of the LEP, in line with recommendations made in the Government’s National Assurance Framework for LEPs, published earlier this year.

Her energy, ideas and expertise in the financial sector have helped drive a refresh of the LEP’s governance and delivery of the Economic Strategy for Norfolk and Suffolk. I know Lindsey will be an even greater asset to the LEP and the region’s business community as she begins this new role.”
