Next month’s Venturefest East event will showcase the latest in automotive and aerospace engineering technology with a track session led by Hethel Innovation.
Leading entrepreneurs and experts from the field of low carbon technologies will join Hethel Innovation to share valuable insights into the strengths and challenges faced by this evolving sector, from super-efficient batteries through to future technology opportunities.
Venturefest East takes place at Newmarket Racecourse on 21 September. The event brings together innovators, business leaders and investors for a day of exciting presentations and track sessions.
Alice Reeve, Innovation Manager at Hethel Innovation, said: “Our local SMEs are creating some of the most innovative solutions to the challenges we currently face. We have expertise and innovations bursting from automotive and engineering businesses, a selection of which will be presented in this session. We are excited to hear about future technologies and how they will impact our lives, hopefully you can join us!”
The session will unpack the concept of ‘Lightweight EV’, and the growth technologies supporting future applications for lightweight design and frame manufacture. Experts will also discuss the developments of a low carbon infrastructure to support electric vehicles and the technology behind sustainable super-efficient batteries.
With a range of keynote speakers, including Dr Ian Campbell, Director – Health and Life Sciences at Innovation UK, track sessions, start-up gurus, as well as the beanbag briefing tent that offers a fantastic opportunity for visitors to “pull up a beanbag” and engage with the experts in an informal, PowerPoint free setting, Venturefest East will offer countless opportunities for entrepreneurs and investors to find the most influential partners.
Venturefest East is organised by Greater Cambridge Greater Peterborough Enterprise Partnership with support from New Anglia Local Enterprise Partnership.
