New Anglia LEP has appointed two agencies to work together on a new place branding proposal for Norfolk and Suffolk.
The new Economic Strategy for Norfolk and Suffolk has emphasised the need for consistent place branding and an overarching offer in order to attract inward investment. Working in collaboration with Jacob Bailey, the creative business services agency CMS has been instructed to develop an umbrella brand for the region that will bring together a unique, world-class business location offer.
Chris Starkie, CEO of New Anglia LEP, comments: “Our aim is to capture the world-class investment and business offer of Norfolk and Suffolk in an overarching branding proposition. CMS and Jacob Bailey have an impressive portfolio of work in place when it comes to branding, marketing, stakeholder engagement and strategy. We look forward to embarking on this journey that will put the area on the global investment map.”
Fiona Wright, COO of CMS, adds: “We are very pleased to be working alongside New Anglia LEP. Our first priority is to engage with as many stakeholders as possible, which should help to explore what a brand for Norfolk and Suffolk might look like.”
Neil Prentice, managing partner at Jacob Bailey, adds: “We are looking forward to working alongside CMS. Together, our aim is to create a brand that will give the region a real competitive advantage in attracting investment to the area.”
