Town Deals
In summer 2019, the Government announced a £3.6bn Towns Fund to support 101 Town Deals across England.
Five towns in our region were invited to apply – Norwich, Ipswich, Great Yarmouth, Lowestoft and King’s Lynn.
A representative from New Anglia LEP sits on each of the local Town Deal boards.
Norwich has been successful in a £25m bid. It will help the council to realise its ‘2040 Vision’. You can find out more about it here
Ipswich has been successful in a £25m bid to help deliver 11 projects across the town. You can find out more about it here
Lowestoft has been successful in a £24.9m bid. It will help to deliver projects as part of the town’s Investment Plan. You can find out more here
Great Yarmouth has been successful in a £20.1m bid. It will help to deliver plans for jobs, economic growth and regeneration across the Borough. You can find out more about it here
King’s Lynn has been successful in a £25m bid. It will help to deliver projects to support economic productivity through urban regeneration, planning and land use, skills and enterprise, and infrastructure and connectivity. You can find out more here
