Kathy Atkinson, legal director at Kettle Foods, has joined the board of New Anglia Local Enterprise Partnership.
She joined the Norfolk company in 2004 and as well as heading up its legal function, she is a member of the executive board which manages the company’s activities in the UK and the rest of Europe.
Kathy is also a director of the group’s Dutch subsidiary which manufactures vegetable crisps.
She said: “I’m pleased to be joining the Board of New Anglia LEP. This is a challenging time for businesses and I look forward to sharing my knowledge to help support our region’s economic recovery.”
C-J Green, Chair of New Anglia LEP, said: “I’m delighted to welcome Kathy to the board. The role of the LEP in supporting local businesses and driving growth, even in difficult times, has shone through in recent months and the Board plays a key role in ensuring that the voice of businesses is heard, both locally and nationally.”
Doug Field, former Chair, stood down from the board at the LEP’s AGM on 23 September.
