The 26th UN Climate Change Conference of the Parties (COP26) takes place in Glasgow from 31 Oct – 12 Nov and as part of this global event, the Greater South East Energy Hub has awarded funding to host regional roadshows to showcase the climate change movement at a grassroots level.
The event on 4 November from 10am will showcase the science and technology involved in making hydrogen, our strengths here in the East of England and hear case studies of how it may be used in the future – including transport, power, heat and in the agriculture and food processing sectors.
Greater South East Energy Hub (GSEEH) is a collaboration of eleven Local Enterprise Partnerships, funded by the Department for Business, Energy and Industrial Strategy (BEIS). Together this collaboration is working towards a brighter future for the regions and as a result the world. Working to increase not only the number of local energy projects, the collaboration is improving the quality and scale of activity to reduce carbon emissions.
